classic rpg?

im looking for a mmo with like "classic" rpg style stats and skills .. that I can pick my stats my self and pick my skills, not like in wow where u get alla spells from the trainer etc more like in diablo 2 ,,, my question is are there a mmo like this?

In a lot of complaints about other MMO's people list things they want in a game, DDO has many of these features but Everybody focuses on instances .
