The rumor mill spat this one out recently.

Is HJ still in development or has it halted?

Anyone know ?

    I didn't give the rumor a lot of credence so am happy to hear it is still in development !

    They "licensed" their Hero Engine to some other developers. Bioware to name one. By doing this, they will have the funding needed to continue developing HJ and take it to the next level.

    There are 7 announced licensees and an unknown number that have not been announced. Of the announced licensees Bioware is most famous, but the guys who made Shadowbane have got it as well.

    And yes, it is in development and they are still hiring onsite personnel as well as excepting World Builder and Writer GM applications.
