Why???

Im only noob @ L2 (been playing 5days) but izzit me or is everything sooo expensive?. I like the game nothing too complex about it and i play with some friends but im just wondering is it because im not fighting high lvl monsters or that the items are expensive.

Plz shed some light on this

Yes it is.

The only way i made money fast in the game was to hunt enemies a couple levels lower than I who drops "OK" amounts of adena. 

For example, hunt werewolves when they start to con blue....they drop around 75 adena and occasionally leather slacks.  Those slacks can fetch ya 750 Adena in the shops or sell for 900 in your market.

But after lvl 20 or so, you'll have to do some intense farming to buy your supplies.  It really is mega expensive.  Every gaming site who has done a review on this game mentioned the items being too expensive for the enemy payout you get per kill.

The good news is that with the release of C1, NC Soft has promised better drops from mobs as you get higher in level.

I played lineage 2 since janurary when I was invited to the closed beta. I played up until release and until 2 weeks to go on the free month. I really wasted my money buying that game. I kept hoping it would just get better with the release of chronicle 1, but it has still yet to be released. I had a 36 human warrior and a 33 human rogue when I quit. Across them I had over 10 mil adena in items and wealth.

Let me just say that I worked and slaved to make all that cash. I was playing 6hrs+ a day most of the weeks and could barely afford new equipment. A few of my friends quit the game before me and gave me their things which helped some (round 2 mil total). This is the worst MMOG I have ever played as far as reward for time invested. You have to work and slave just to get some cash to buy soulshots and new equipment. In other games like EQ, there are MORE items and more variety of items. At any level you can hunt somewhere and get items to sell to shops or other players. In lineage 2 all you can do is pile up trade rescources to give to your clan or to sell to other players fr cash. All the high lev el players look exactly the same because of the limited equipment choices.

Lineage 2 really blows as far as character diversity. They should should made it like planetside where you just pick your weapons and skills and then the rest is a "level playing field."

Enough ranting for now, heh I could really go on and on for pages about L2.
