Will this game appeal to me?

I am an unconventional Old School UO player loved PvP and such
By unconventional I mean I SCAMMED ALOT! also loved getting Cheap Kills with friends tricking people far into fel etc. but also loved the more modest aspects of UO Guild Battles and factions were great too early on I played a Mage but transitioned to a Dexxer as time went on loved housing etc. what you guys think? should I look into this game?

It seems like you would be able to find a home here. The game will have many different routes for pvp, many role play opportunities, many chances to befriend people and then turn your back on them when they need help, or be the reason they need help because your blade is hanging from their back. If you are into the politic part of gaming. There are not factions in this game though, you can pretty much kill anybody you want depending on server. There will be both PVE player housing where mobs will actually try to destroy your PVE city, and there will be PvP housing through Battle Keeps in the border kingdoms. I would head over to http://www.AgeofConan.com and look up more on the game, and while you are there, apply for the beta!
hm, sounds good Will the houses have cosmetic capabilities liek locking down items etc. also I am finishing a new Rig atm once that is done I will be sure to sign up for Beta
I am not sure about being able to place items in the house like on the floor but I am sure that you will be able to have a "chest" or "cabinet" to place items. All the housing items in the game are crafted and buyable as well so you can customize your house a great deal. Hope this information helps you.

I thought player housing wasnt in for launch? only building I know that you can socialise in are the ones in the guild PvE city, such as the guild hall, tavern and such like, has this changed?

That is what I am referring to, the guild player built cities. Player housing itself will not be in at launch but will be patched in down the road. The houses themselves though are still customizable.
