Gods, Dragons, and Legendary Weapons

Ok, a few IDeas that I feel I need to get out.  The first thing I read up on when researching EverQuest2 was on the history of Lucan D'Lere, the now overlord of Freeport.  It clearly outlines his human side, but then also talked of his "darker" side, his lich blood.  I also read some more interesting information regarding the legendary sword Soulfire.  Lucan possesses it, however from what I know about Everquest1, this sword is a sword of benevolence, the Paladin Epic.  So how can one so evil as he weild it.  Another point I wanted to touch on was regarding dragons.  Since dragons are still around in Norath, do you believe they are being controled by the gods, and you do think that dragons will be on opposing sides, good v.s. evil.  The good dragons will only attack those alligned with Freeport, and the evil dragons will only fight those aligned with Qeynos, please post your opinions on these matters, thank you.

I think during all the caos the soulfirer go currupted or something so evil people can now wield it. As fur as dragons go I dout thats whats going on. They said that the gods arn't around anymore and theres a eq2 movie that shows good and evil poeple fighting nagi.

On the EQ2 homepage under the description of the soulblade it said that throughout history it has been weilded by both good and evil people and as well it holds the souls of its victims within it.  there are a few more things about its distruction and recreation if you read it fully.
