Without Zeppelin none of the bands listed there would be as good as they are today. And Bonham did things with 1 foot that Carey needs 2 for. Zeppelin 100X better than Tool will ever be. i like them both though.
Led Zeppelin is a rock legend and the other bands are just okay.

^^^ Like the many above me said, Led Zeppelin is in a whole other league, it is hard to compare a band like Tool, which isn't that old of a band, to Zeppelin, I would have to give the nod to Zeppelin everytime, not saying that one is better than the other, but Zeppelin has much more material and years on the other bands, except for maybe Deep Purple and Aerosmith, they are close.
But to make my point, the poll is scewed by putting a band that most would consider a rock legend, I haven't even voted yet but I would wager that Led Zeppelin will have the most.

All their popular songs(and some that aren't) are stolen, Jimmy Page is almost as overrated as Jimi Hendrix and to add he's a pretentious douche, and Robert Plant sings like a chipmunk.

Please name another guitarist from the other bands listed here that even comes close to what Jimmy Page is. In my book Page is at the top no matter what. A lot of great bands have used others songs, so what if they didn't write it? That's how rock n roll was born, look at jazz-some of the greatest artists are only famous from doing their own version of a song. Not to mention that everyone got this idea that Zeppelin were song stealers just because Rolling Stone magazine were pricks to them. Do you know Anything about music??

Led Zeppelin is the most overrated band of all time. And just because they are an older band doesn't make them better...as far as who has more material, Tool has tons of material and is by no means a "new" band, they have been around for over a decade and a half.

Listen to the interview, and that's my only reply to your idiotic post.
The only bands on that list that realy stand out are AC/DC,aerosmith,and led zeppelin.Pretty much everyother band on that list is only so-so.
I voted AC/DC,which i kinda regret doing since i didn't see aerosmith was one of the choices.
all these band are great , though am listening to serveral songs from heart ,the gal's band .
AC/DC is a band thats got the right formula to last forever.
Some of the modern guitarists run circles around Jimmy Page technically, but that doesn't diminish the achievement or charisma of Led Zeppelin one bit.
Do I get Brownie Points for saying that I've been to a Led Zeppelin concert (they were all stoned out of their minds and sounded horrible that night)? Or will I just be called a dottering, senile, withered old douchebag.

Well considering Led Zepplin has sold more albums then anyone else on that list. I think it is pretty easy to say who the best is.

I suppose if you like extremely formulaic and repetetive music, then sure, AC/DC rules. Personally I like songs to be more than two or three lines repeated for three to five minutes at a time.

Well if we were going to make a comparison to MMOs then Yes Led Zepplin would be like WoW, Aerosmith and Deep Purple like Lineage 1 and 2, Metallica would be like Everquest, and everything else on that list would be like DDO.
Considering that their can be no comparison.
Most of the bands on that list have sold less then 50 million records.
Aerosmith and Deep Purple have sold 100 Million + and I think AC/DC is around 50-100 Million sold.
Led Zepplin being 250 million + is a strong indicator of their quality. Especially considering that pretty much no other Rock Band has ever sold that many records. I believe the rest of the 250+ million are solo Artists and pop singers/groups.
