Low Population servers...

Its 2:44am PST for me right now. Friday night no less....well saturday early morning.
I am so frustrated right now.
All my characters are on low population servers besides two which are sometimes medium/low population.
I spent 2 hours trying to find a 5 man pug on Anub'brak server no luck.
Coilfang lvl 67 no one running any pug instances only two endgame guilds on Alliance.
I hate that everyone is willing to pay $25 to transfer their characters. I hate Blizzard for raking in the cash on that.
I I I me me me, I haven't expressed that enough in this I realize.
Right now I'd kill to have any of my characters magically transferred free of charge to a Full or High population server.

Transferring off certainly wouldn't help your server's situation ... are your servers marked as 'recommended'?
Nearly 3am in the morning isn't exactly the best time to find a group.

You are on a PVE server correct ? Or normal so to speak
3AM .. think about it reeeaaaaalllll hard.
Trust me, high population servers aren't much better. Unless you are in a guild you probably won't find many pugs either as almost everything is guild runs.
PUG's are easy to get or to setup (on xavius anyway - medium server).. but at 3AM.. they are not... thats your problem right there.
I play on Zul'jin some, and in my experience I've always been able to find a pug on a friday or saturday nite at any time, 3AM included. The only time I can't seem to get up a pug is weekday mornings. OP, if you do decide to fork over the money to transfer due to low pop, maybe try ZJ. Having to pay $25 is definitely irritating, though, if it's a gameplay issue and not just personal preference. There ought to be a discount for moving all of your characters at once.
Both Anub and Coilfang went from recommended to no longer being recommended.
I am always on a PvP server.
Everyone is focusing on the end time being 3 am, but didnt' realize I said I've been on for 2 hours, and check that I know I was on from 11pm till 3am.
And being that time of night is not such a bad problem seeing as people underestimate how many Aussies play on these servers but thanks for making the quick clip of thats my problem like it such a simple fix.
Just saying that Blizzard is letting a lot of servers down with comparsion to servers like Illidan, Warsong, Tichondrious which are always high/full population servers compared to others, and forcing to pay for a transfer is really cheap.
Compared to before they upgraded their server infrastructure when theyoffered free transfers to full servers, now that they have upgraded their servers they have not once offered free transfers at all. It was only their benefit that theyofferd them.
Low pop server are a problem in WoW, my friend played on Nazjatar untill he was around lvl 62. One day I made a character on his server and ran to IF, when I got to IF I did a /who and there were only 9 people in IF on a Friday night 7pm server time. The server he played on had free transfers onto it but that dident get at all and I dont think blizzard will merge servers anytime soon.
Reroll a new character on a high pop server or pony up the 25 bucks.... at least you have a choice.... in the old days games like DAOC didn't have such options and if you were stuck on a low pop server you were basically out of luck. (still are in fact)
Someday Blizzard will probably either cluster servers or offer transfers off of low pop ones, but I'm not seeing that happen for quite a while

If your like me and can't fork over the 25 bucks, then reroll. I have a char on a low pop (but not dead) server, and I'm going to keep him there while I make a new character on Illidan. Just in case Blizzard decides to merge servers or it suddenly gets better. I suggest you do the same.
You clearly havent played on the TBC servers (coilfang). Its a WHOLE different story. Auchindoun/bloodfurnance/coilfang are all dead servers. Only people left on that server that HAVENT xfered off are guilds that have enough people to run stuff, any time of day you will not find a pug.

No one needs to argue the problems that come with low Pop servers, its well established. Theres really few options 1) Find a active guild 2) Deal with it, try to establish contacts to instance with 3) Transfer off the server 4) Roll a character on a med-high pop server
I wish you luck though, im fortunate enough to have a good population on my server. ( Echo Isles )
