This to me makes no sense......
They say it will give unfair advantages, If you can modify your UI .
I think It would Give this game the Freedom players want.
People are going to find ways arround no UI 3rd party modifications.
So why should the few Hardcore get the advantage????
Make them very accessible to everyone that way theres no unfaire advantage.

How exactly are people going to find a way around no UI 3rd party modifications without SIL finding out and running the risk of being expelled from the game?
It is true that people want certain functionality the developers could not even have imagined and 3rd party UI can sometimes fill that gap. On the other hand you will find the SIL development team quite responsive to the players wishes, unlike some other game developers who create the possiblity to create your own UI so they don't need to bother themselves.
Anyway, there are pro's and contra's for adaptability of game UI's by third parties. The reason SIL gives for not doing it does make some sense. In a skill based game play you would like to avoid unfair advantages. The argument that everybody would have access to those UI's is true, of course, but third party UI's might as well undermine the skill based concept of the game, which is one of the main pillars on which Spellborn rests. And I have to agree with them that that is not something I wish to see happening.

Its a challenging game and everyoen deserves the same chancess and the same gameplay in PvP.....You just must use the tools you have, what seems like 3 steps back can easilly be the best thing ever happening if they only can make the basic interface stunning and rocking.
Next to that, you would not like to race with a Volkswagen against a ferrari...thats why
