Is this game gonna be like half of a game, what i mean by that is, will it all just be tedious stuff with about one instance, and also when i watched the video is it true the armours you wear dont have stats?
Played: WoW, Guild wars, Eve, SWG, and more

It is true that the appearance of your armor doesn't matter, and they don't have stats. Stats are generated through the use of stones that can be attached to weapons and armor so that you can find a look that you like, and keep it, while still having your equipment scale to your level.

lol that made no sense, or im probs just being dumb, so u use stones to get stats for ure weapon huh?

Yup. It's a pretty cool concept, to be honest. I've always hated trying to balance equipment stats with the way I want my character to look.

Think of it as sockets in your gear like you have in WoW & diablo.
For example... Your chest will have say 3 sockets (number depends on your level), you fight some big ass boss and he drops a stone with say +15AP, you can then socket that stone into 1 of your chest sockets to boost your overall AP by 15, you can socket and unsocket these stones at will to respec in different ways. hope thats clear.
This way no 1 knows what "gear" or "spec" you are becuase its not a visual thing, but what does sound cool is that a guild could all wear pink if they so wanted as the colour and visual appearence of a toon means nothing.
If I remember correctly you can use those same "sigils" to enhance you spells as well?
It was mentioned that abilities can be enhanced. Whether or not it will be as involving as materia or junctions were in Final fantasy 7 and 10 respectivley remains to be seen.
I would like to throw in my quick two cents, stating that the idea for this game finally hit the nail on the head. I'm sure I am not the only one who hated getting a great armor upgrade in WoW to have it make my character resemble a Pope.
The stones are called Sigil stones, but they cannot be applied to armour. Only to weapons. But there are body slots too. Sigils stones give stats, and can be removed from weapon and body slots, be replaced by other Sigil stones and/or be applied to other weapons or body slots. I believe that there are even spell slots, so that spells can be enhanced by Sigil stones.
Of course, Sigil stones can be traded, so expect them to play an important role in the economy of the game.

The sigil stones can be removed by a blacksmith-NPC for a fee, if you want to place a better one in. If you do not mind loosing it you can just replace it with a better one and destroy the old one.
And when your weapon has full slots you can lock it and give it a name and sell it (or keep it). Then you will have a unique weapon to distinguish yourself.
It is not entirely clear, but there is a chance you can somewhat customize the appearance of the weapon too when you do that.
