    Don't even get a GT or GTS a X1950pro is the same price and will outperform both, don't waste your money.

    Only problem with x1950pro is it doesn't support DX10.

    Which dosent matter. The 8600GT and GTS are too weak to play a DX10 game in DX10 at respectable settings. Meanwhile that X1950Pro will perform good in DX9 games and DX10 games in DX9 mode.

    The only midrange DX10 card I would susgest spending money on is the HD2600XT, the 512mb version can be found easily for $150. I own the 256mb version and it can run anything I have at mid high-max settings with 30-150 FPS, this is with EQ2, WoW, Empire at War, Oblivion, Lotro, FEAR, and Warhammer Dawn of War.

    lol. funny thing. i went out to Fry's and bought a HD2400 for $150, the HD2600XT was $230 and i didn't have that much. >.>

    x1950pro is a sweet card ran it before i got the 8800 nvidia...dont even bother with nvidia cards unless u get 8800 series... zipzoomfly.com got a good price on it to if u can find one in stock which should tell u how popular the card is.
