Invisible Error... Help :(

So I reinstalled the game last night after quitting awhile back and now after about 8 - 10 minutes of playing my mouse cursor will freeze in the very center of the screen but I can still click on the icons if I'm lucky with the new invisible cursor. The little glove is still in the center of the screen though. After about a minute of that the game shuts down and I get an error... The error has no title and no description.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Only thing I've changes since the last time I played was I put in a new vid card (Radeon X1950). All drivers up to date, all software installed correctly, latest DirectX 9.

    Everything should be fine.

I will tell you what a dev will tell you do to

    1. Delete your WTF folder and run the game, if it still crashes....

    2. Go to the errors folder within your WoW folder (default location: C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftErrors). Then copy and paste the information from the newest dated text file from there into a WoW "Technical forum" post. So the devs can see whats going on.

And a long shot could be that the newest radeon drivers (dont know when they last were updated - nvidia here) could be having an effect that wont be fixed till the next Wow patch in a week or 2. so maybe downgrade a version or 2 just see if thats the cause.

And I assume your on XP.

First, good luck with that ATI Card.

So, this really does sound like a graphics card / graphics driver problem.

Here are a couple of possible solutions / workarounds.

    *   Find and disable the Hardware Cursor >or< find and enable the Hardware Cursor.  In other words set it to the opposite of what it is now.

    *  Start 'walking backwards' throught the ATI drivers set till you find one that works.  This is especially a problem with ATI cards that often their newer drivers are a bit glitchy.

    *  Use an NVidia card.  All other things being equal, the NVidia cards seem to work a bit better in WoW than ATI cards.

    *  Download and install the latest driver package for your Mouse.  Get the package from the vendor site.  Microsoft for Microsoft mice, Logitech for Logitech mice, etc.

    Best of Luck
