Anyone try it , experience it ? Are there any ground breaking things that would make an old pre trammel vet come back to it ?

Kingdom Reborn is just a graphical update and pretty buggy still.
Players discuss if it is alpha or beta while EA decided it was good enough to go gold.
Stygian Abyss the expansion which is said to use the full effects of the new client is scheduled end of this year probably.
If you enjoyed pre Trammel and don't like to grind for items then I would advise an old based freeshard.
If you enjoy building houses like in sims though UO has the right features still.
UO was the original and I loved it then....still have huge original manual that came with release......I checked out the specs for the expansion but honestly nothing could bring me back at this point...great game in it's prime but that time is long gone.

Play on Felucca if you like free-for-all pvp, better yet, for the truly hardcore, Siege Perilous is the way to go. KR may only be a graphical upgrade, but it is free for existing players. I think its great, this game has needed a facelift for a while now. Here's to another decade of UO!
