Hi all,

I was just wondering if i may ask some questions??

 

I have just ordered the eq2 game including the flames of freedom addon and was wondering if i need to buy all the addons to play the game or do i just need to get the addons as i progress?

also i am based in the UK and wondered if anyone knows if eq2 is very active over here on the uk servers or should i play on a us server?

waiting for the game to arrive at the mo so not started anything yet so sorry if i have asked stupid questions

Hey,

You only need the original game to be able to play the game, but the expansion packs will increase your avaiable contents.

 

To summon up the expansions:

1. Original game. Level 1-50
2. Dessert of Flames (DoF), for level 45 to 60
3. Kingdom of Sky (KoS), for level 55 to 70. You can gain achievement points from level 20.
4. Echoes of Faydark (EoF), aimed at all levels (level 1 to 70), you can gain achievement points from level 10.

If you had bought the box version of EoF, you would have gotten the original game and all the expansion packs. The boxed version would also upgrade your current game up to EoF and all the expansion packs if you had added it to a exisitng account.

 

The EU servers have a healthy populations (I do play on Splitpaw myself). If you plan to play on a PvP server, you need to play on one of the US server (same with RP server). There may be more players on the US servers, but you wouldn't play in their prime time.
