Hi. (This is my first post!!! Yay!!!) I was looking everywhere for a MMORPG and I stumbled upon Runescape 2. I thought it was really fun but then the battles were boring just watch my guy attack etc. So I start looking for MMORPG's like Runescape but more involoved. I found Eternal Lands. Fun and has a good future but still very weird and incomplete, I don't like it. Then I came acrrost more MMORPGS but they are all very big files. I (of corse) only go free so I saw- Planeshift, Priston Tales, and Fairy Land. All have big downloads so I want to only do one. Which one would you people reccomend and why? I looked at Planeshift and it looks AWESOME I know its not very complete but it seems far more than EL and it looks way better. Fairy Land people told me not to turn from because it is a great MMORPG but it does look girlish, childish, and I'm not sure it's free. And Priston Tales sounds great but people have told me it is not an MMORPG but a real time strategy game. Please help me (and don't flame cause I like Runescape. It has a second one that is not that bad

lol, im just getting a kick of all these "new members" talking about how awesome runescape, pristontales, and Fairy Land is.
My personal opinion is I wont play them...not because they're free, but because I just cant play a game with graphics that bad.
Don't get me wrong...graphics arent everything....but when graphics are that bad (like the original Nintendo Zelda graphics) I wont play it ever....even if it is free.
Its ashame I know....but I played those graphics types back in 1988...lol, i dont wanna go backwards in my entertainment

I do not like Runescape. Go to the site there is a second one it is 3D and fairly good. A little cartoony but still fun. Just boring once you get to like level... 10? Lol it is quite boring but I like to help the n00bs on there it is sort of fun. But anyway which games would you reccomend that are free if you think those games stink? I have checked out almost all and those 3 (Planeshift, Priston Tales, and Fairyland) all looked the best. (Also Freeworld sounds good but the log-in thing is closed whenever I go there...

Not sure whether Fairyland is free or not, but out of those 3 you were talking about, I'd go with Fairyland, I've heard good things about the game, and who cares if it's childish or not, it's all about the fun factor, if you consider it fun, then play it! I wouldn't suggest Priston Tale, because content wise the game is great, but service wise the game is less than great, I know, it is free (it is a beta, that's why it's free), but I could barely play that game due to excessive disconnections, "server full" messages, and lag sprees. And Planeshift, well, it's still in early development, I'd say you should check on that game a few months later, wait for it, then it should be much better in my opinion.

I would go for Priston Tale.
Played it myself for about half a year, a very fun to play game.
