Playing US version in EU

Anyone know if its possible for someone living in the UK to play the US version of EQ2 on US servers? and if possible what the lag would be like?

i do and its nice to start from scratch again lag wise it can be a littleannoying if your not used to getting it on  the EU servers but overall its not so bad

Hello mate.

Playing on USA servers is easy. In the EULA screen in the top right corner, where you see the region select combo box, you need to select:

"English [US]" and click "I Accept".

The launch pad will reload,  it probably will tell you something about changing region and so so, (no worries).

Click another time on "I accept" cose you need to Accpet the EULA for the USa and thats all.

Enter your username and password, wait for the game to update and play.

Cheers for the replies, think i'll give the US servers a go then.

Is there anywhere I can download the full game from with the 3 expansions? i've bought it, got the cd-keys to register an account but just don't have the game discs yet.

I believe you can download the patcher from the Everquest2.com web site. Try looking in the "trial" section, im sure its there.

This is the the trial page, but it is where i downloaded the game from, so i know it works
