After a 2 year absence (due to WoW and LoTRO), I've just returned to EQ2.

I am starting again, and there have been many many changes.

Could people recommend some good sites for guides on the classes, crafting etc.

The one source that most players i know use is EQ2i, which will pretty much tell you anything you need to know about the game.

Another good one is Alakhazam.

If your looking for something specific, try out the official forums. They have individual forum sections for all the classes, tradeskills, etc. Most of the class threads have player guides specific to the class.
