To be honest I play the game almost as I live my life, if the opportunity comes to make friends I take it and if I can have a decent amount of money that's great.
I do however never pursuit "wealth" or "popularity" in the sense that I want to have a huge house that i really don't need or that I want to have the most luxurious cars in the world instead of having a normal car that has the same purpose.
Money isn't really something that I care about but that doesn't mean that I don't work. I work for the fact that money is needed to survive and to live a good life on your own terms, same thing with "popularity", I mean does that mean that you have people that knows about you or does it mean that you have friends that really do know about you.
I know that I would rather have really good friends instead of having people that I do not know admiring me, it might sound weird for some but that's just the way I am
And to get back to the topic if someone hasn't gotten my opinion yet my answer is a simple no, if does happen for some raeson then I would't mind ofcourse
i think eve is the only game where you can really be famous.. known to every player in the game because it isnt sharded
I agree. I think eve is a fantastic game to do what you want. I want to strive to be a bounty hunter. And i can become known for that. What other game can you do that in?
Well when i said "famous" I was thinking more famous in the framework of your server and the people you know in the game. Its the same as in life, 99.99% of people will not be world renowned, but in the framework of your family, friends, town etc, it is a lot easier to gain popularity!
