Cabal Vs 2Moons?

Sorry for my bad English!

This is from my point of view about Cabal and 2Moons:

I love both game! Peace...

* Cabal [Europe] - Blader lvl 77

* 2Moons aka Dekaron [Taiwan] - Incar Magician lvl 48

GRAPHIC

Cabal : (8/10)

2Moons : (9/10)

Well... 1st of all, graphics ..... nothing to say, every thing is good, both game's graphic equally the same, make sure u own a good display card though!

Awesome sceneries and landscapes : beach, jungle, lake, desert, snowy, dungeon etc...

The character graphics are great too, especially the attack animations. Graphically, its beautiful in both game, almost similar.

SOUND

Cabal : (8/10)

2Moons : (5/10)

I have to admit that 2Moons has the worst background soundtrack ever! But character voices are ok, eg: the Incar will chant while applying some magic damage on her enemies.

Cabal soundtrack is nice, cool rock music, it suits the game, and the characters voices are great too. But if u been surrounding by many mobs, and once u hit them, LOUD noise will burst out from ur speakers! Which I don't know why?

*Both game implemented a MP3 system, so that u can add ur favorite songs into the playlist, but for Cabal, u have to convert the MP3 file to OGM 1st.

CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION

Cabal : (7/10)

2Moons : (1/10)

Cabal : A few types of face, hair and hair color can be choose from character creation section. We also get to choose between the gender.

2Moons : None customization, which mean if u choose Azure knight, and ur friend also do the same, U two will looks exactly the same, only will looks different if wearing different armor.

*Perfect World have the best Character Customization Section (10/10) but the game play SUCKS!!! (0/10) Sorry perfect world fanatic!

SKILLS

Cabal : (10/10)

2Moons : (10/10)

Cabal's skills are the best of the best! The main thing why I play Cabal is because I watched all these freaking superb skills show from youtube! It gave me all the goosebumps, makes me want to try out the game at the first place, just think of doing a single attack which slashes 10 times within 4 seconds, with glorious lights shining out of the swords, dreamy, isn't it?

2Moons's skills? Oh I just LOVE it! If not mistaken, I think is the summoner who will split into 7 shadows and continuously slash at the enemies! Brilliant skill! The animation and the movement of the character when performing the skills is so smoothly rendered. 2 thumbs up!!!

QUEST

Cabal : (9/10)

2Moons : (7/10)

The quests in Cabal its like waves after waves, huge amount of quests that even each level has its own quest, and the quest rewards will give u EXP points, which means u will level up faster if u concentrate on finishing the quests.

2Moons quests not that bad, but u will feel lack of quest after u reach level 45 above, not all level will be giving u quest, u will not gain EXP points after completing some of the quests, but it'll give u precious items/weapon or armor instead.

MAPS

Cabal : (9/10)

2Moons : (7/10)

Personally, I dislike huge Maps setting, Cabal's world is consider medium size to me, not that big, and not too small. When doing quest, the red dots will show up on the mini map, so it'll come in handy for the newbies, at least to show them what to do and where to go. 2Moons have bigger maps than Cabal, but luckily have NPCs that can directly teleport u to other map, and the cost are not that expensive too, so I guess it is okay. But the things is when doing quests, the maps wont show u where to head, U'll have to read the clues given by the NPCs and search for ur self by opening the big maps. (I'm a bit lazy to read all the names in the maps! lol)

OVERALL GAMEPLAY

Cabal : (9/10)

2Moons : (8/10)

In Cabal, aside from skill combat, there is a complex combo system that requires you to first activate it and then time your special skill attacks for the combo to keep going. If you miss to use a skill when the meter tells you to, the combo breaks. Battle Modes in Cabal make the gameplay even better.

In 2Moons, there is no DEATH penalties, which is very cool to me, no exp deduction, no precious items drops, when u died, it just spawn u back to the nearest spawn point. The party system in 2Moons is pretty good too. Finally, PVP in 2Moons is just plain ROXXX!!!

MMORPG that I quit after play for one month:-

Silkroad - Nice graphics and soundtrack, but its SUPER grind and ridiculous quests!!! (Kill 1000 Chakji!!!!????) 50 is more than enough for me...

Last Chaos - Last Chaos is a free MMORPG with good graphics, but not enough depth to keep you coming back.

9Dragons - OMG, freakin funny attack animation! Almost cannot 'feel' the attacks! I quit after 1 week!

Hero Online - Errgghh... Too many Bugs!!! Other than that, the gameplay was okay.

Perfect World - The Map is too HUGE! Will only wasting ur time just to travel between places! But Superb character customization.

Pirate King Online - The game was good and its cute! But not enough skills, a total let down!

Granado Espada - Its just not my type, feel boring after play for 5 days, only special is able to control up to 3 separate characters. Party is useless!

Played in 2moons CB and it stunk and tried the OB when it came out to see if it still was the old boring Dekaron..  It´s still Dekaron and not the hyped game 2moons everyone was promised. Bad graphics, pot spamming pvp and the usual grind.

Cabal is marginally better, so I would play that if  I  had to chose between these two.

But you are better off playing in traffic waiting for WaR,  AoC and TCoS.

If you ask me, I think 2Moons wins in all opinions because of popularity, it will have more support.

Cabal fails in my opinion because they can't reach a larger audience base other than northern Europe.

I've seen the videos for this game too... was all hyped about it. Then I found out it was EU only, which kinda disappointed me, to say the least.

    1. graphics: IMO 2 Moons has better graphics; both characters and maps are more detailed. There's not a huge difference between the 2 games though, but Cabal looks somehow more cartoonish.

    2. sound: Cabal takes the lead. Very nice songs, well suited to each map and location, it's actually enjoyable to let it play i the background. Might seem not important to some ppl, but after a few hours of grinding, you might thank to guys that were in charge of the sound. The mob sounds are ok too, not something out of ordinary, but not bad either.

    3. character costumization: Cabal wins hands down. there's no costumization in 2 Moons, all the new created characters look the same.

    4. skills: both feature cool looking and effective skills; I like more Cabal's because you have more to choose from even at low levels, while in 2 Moons there are just a few - and that's a major minus in my book, because it's supposed to be a hardcore pvp game, yet no diversity whatsoever, all the similar race toons use the same skills.

    5.  quests: again Cabal wins. Better written, not so boring, rewarding a good ammount of xp and money. You can be a lvl 20+ in a day or two if you solve all the quests you receive.

    6. maps: 2 Moons wins hands down. The maps are considerably bigger and pretty well designed. Cabal tends to become overcrowded because the maps are so small they give you the impression you're inside a doll house with just 4 rooms (add to this frequent ksing behaviour from the same lvl players, and you get the picture). The teleport system between some maps is also annoying, you'll spend a lot of time passing through that chamber, especially when doing quests. Teleport may also cause some lag issues when entering a map and especially when getting out of a dungeon (if there are mobs around, you'll hear them hitting you before being able to see what or who is your opponent). Also the game takes a lot of time to load.

However, if I were to choose one of these 2 games, I'd go with 2 Moons, although I hate all areas pvp. You see, I like more the quest advancement system that Cabal has, it takes a lot of grinding time off your shoulders, I like the fact that I have a few customization options, I also like better the skill trees, but I HATE those small maps and that cartoonish feeling, I hate teleporting more than training and ultimately, I hate loosing xp after each death, considering at all time the next mob respawn could bring a way stronger enemy thant the ones in the area (for instance if you fight yellow mobs, chances are that after a few orange mobs, a red one will respawn near you, and that means in most cases instant death). Plus, I hate the armor system, especially the upgrading - very expensive and difficult to make 'cause the upgrade components and upgradable gear pieces are rare, at least at lower lvls.
