A blue post on the US forums even said they *might* add some VOX options to it in the future, if you dont know what VOX is, it will change your voice a few octives up or down, which will make you voice sound like a gnome, ork etc.
As its a CPU intensive thing blizzard might not add it. needing to decode/encode several voices on the fly and all.

There was a post on the US forums about the VOIP that wow offers, being compatible to other voice changing programs.
Edit: I just realized You said that all in the post above me. Perhaps i should read before posting eh?
VOX is a great idea. I've read numerous posts by people who said they hate vent because inappropriate voices kill the immersion (deep guy voice for female NE, 10-year-old boy's voice for Orc Warrior.) Should be interesting when it does get here.
