Is there a way to make people's names show up further away? It seems like I have to run up in their face to see their name.

Not sure  if it can be done visually on screen. I used to just target the distant player/mob and look at the name in the target box

Not sure, but maybe it is your clip plane settings.  Set that to as far as possible and perhaps that would help.

I think there is no way you can see an enemy name farther then when they are in range to click on the most close enemy. The only thing you can do is when you a see a person just click on them and it will show you if they are a enemy or a friend.
