Hey guys,

When you log in the US beta center, there is a section called : Promotional Codes and Associations

For my part, my current association is Veteran WAR Newsletter Subscriber

I was wondering if any of you would know if our chances to get in the beta are higher with that status? Is there another rank higher then veteran? Is it just some info to fill in the page or is it actually usefull in some ways??

u get codes for winning contests or attend conventions.

Yes, if  you are a Veteran WAR newsletter subscriber it increases your odds of getting into the beta.  It does not mean you will for certain but your odds are better.  If you want to get in for certain you need to win a beta key at a show like GenCon or Origins (I won my at the latter but still have not gotten the invite -- woe is me ).
