I was replying to the post made by shukes33 disclaiming that Vg has the top graphics. By your logic, we can clearly say Vg sucked ass and is nothing great. Too bad it does suck whether you like it or not.
Too bad you can't appraise the beatiful graphics and afford play a P2P mmo's and so you have to link us and show us how satisfied you are with F2P games.
So we have sunk to that level of response? lol.... well done.

Never really did understand this argument, who cares which games graphics are better? You're either playing the game or you're not.
Some areas in Vanguard are desolate and bland... and?? Why does every area on a map have to be some incredible view? I forget the name of the continent but one is supposed to be an arid desolate zone(Arabian themed) which they portrayed well. Lush green forests with a 'to die for' sunset doesn't fit into their theme there.
The other two continents are very well done and fit the theme well, now if only they could iron out the thousands of bugs that Sigil left for them and continue with adding content..

Just off the top of my head(without looking at the specs) I'm thinking your video card is going to hold you back big time.
GeForce 7 would be decent, problem is you have a 7500 LE. the "500 LE" pretty much means its a Low end card, you would need a 7800 or better for good frame rates.
I would recommened by all means x1950 for Vanguard. I used 8800gtx for it but crashed too often. So I just bought a new computer only for vanguard with x1950 and it works nicely.

I've just tried it , its not that bad but EQ2 has better graphics.
i've 2gig or ram, c2d E6750 1333 mhz fsb 2.66ghz, x1950pro 512mb, seagate baracuda 3GB/S 16mb and the game run fine on medium/high but the game feel really empty
animation is not that great, character customisation is crap (5 haircut, sliders that change nearly nothing, no color pallet only crap sliders.
My rig is four years old with an update 8800 video card..... bad news is... for a computer this old, I push the settings to hard and you can see I'm getting a whooping 6-8 fps in the middle of these fights. Outside harvesting or running around I can get 70-80... but dungeon fights bring my PC to it's knees.

14-20 fps wouldn't feel that smooth to me. I was getting that on my laptop for LOTRO, and I just couldn't deal with it.

Im thinking of buying nvidia geforce 8500 or 8600, is them any good?

UI is a lot like WOW but thats not a bad thing.

My lord. This thread makes me want to get into the 21st Century with my computer. These screens are gorgeous, a lot better than mine.
