Daoc account registration problem

in Dark Age of Camelot

I bought Daoc today(the original without any expansions, eu-version) when i tried to create an account there was only the following 2 options of registration:

Daoc + SI + ToA

and

Daoc + SI

It asks for the cd-key and since i dont have any for the Si expansion, i am unable to register. How do i solve this problem / how do i register daoc?

    Or trade the orginal in... I think the EU Gold-edition (which has the original + SI included) or even the platinum edition (which has the original + SI and ToA) cost about the same as the original. The better graphics are defenitly worth the few extra euros...

    I have contacted them, but i am impatient - i want to play now.

    I guessed that when they didnt bother to have any information about this issue available on their site, they are just hoping that people just forget about their purchase of the game or maybe they are expecting people to get the expansions, nonetheless Mythic Entertainment is a rotten company.

    My experience tells me that the best help comes from the community, not the developers, so naturally i asked here. If there was a support chat room for Daoc, it would have made things like these much easier.

    Is there a possibility that it is an old issue of the classic game? I vaguely recall a patch note somewhere that the new software being sent out classic had the same engine as SI. Maybe that is why they are asking for DAoC and SI.

    I set my account up over two years ago and nobody in my guild has set a new one up so I can't really offer you much in the way of help. I do know that you can get the DAoC gold package here for the same price or less than what classic used to cost.

    EDIT:

    I posted on another board for you and was told that old classic software cannot be used to create accounts anymore. You have to have an SI key and someone even said the trial version comes with an SI key even though you can only access classic areas.  I still think this is because the classic lands use the SI engine now.  Stores probably shouldn't even have the old classic software on the shelf anymore.

    I'd take it back and get the gold package or call Mythic CS and see if you can get credit or something.

    I think that the problem is that you are trying to register it.

    The Classic game didn't need to be registered at all.  You only have to register the expansions for "your Account" since you have to buy a new copy of the expansion for every "Account" you own - since there are many with 3+ accounts...

    Now I could be totally off on this, but the only times that I've "Registerd" was for SI and ToA, with Classic I just typed in the CD KEY at startup, than created an account.
