is EQ2 mostly PVP pr PVE???

in Everquest II

read topic as well as what are some interesting classes to play in the game ... i happen to like melee in some games.... mostly dps like characters anyone got some insight on what i might want ot play in this game???

    Eq2 was made more for PVE but you can go to a PVP server as well which the pvp server actually has quit alot of people on it. I just reactivated my everquest 2 account and all I have to say the game has really improved and I think you will really enjoy it.

    What class should u play? I don't know you have to make that up for your own. I don't think there is really a any best class in the game. They are all good in their owns ways. Just depends on your playstyle. If you like to help and heal people u choose a healing class.. if u like dps or tanking u choose a warrior or rogue.. .ect .ect

    I like the idea of the warlock (about done patching) is that a viable solo class? I understand there will be spots where grouping is the only option, but I do enjoy my solo time so I am wondering if Warlock is capable being an AoE class fom the description on EQ2's website.

    Its mostly PvE though there are PvP servers. And I hope they keep it PvE oriented.

    To stay on edge with World of Warcraft, you're going to have to have PvP thesedays.  Why do you think Guild Wars is so popular?  Other then it's no monthly fee, there's nothing BUT PvP.

    I enjoy messing with people's minds, so I tend to play the corser class.  Very powerful in the right hands.  Each class tends to be a little different the the other.
