I know it's still popular but I was wondering if this game is going to become free ever since nc is working on the new marvel mmo. Also, does anybody have a code I can use to my existing account, or if anyone knows where there are some great deals on the time cards that would be great. I Don't really wan't to pay for those overpriced all NC games cards, amazon used to have a great price but no more :/

Ok here we go again. NCSoft is NOT doing the new MUO game. NCSoft is the publisher of CoH/V and other games. They do the Customer service and collect the money. They then pay the Developer, Cryptic, who IS making MUO, to create new content. The only way the game is going to end up free is if they decide to do that instead of just closing it down. But, since they have said they have about 5 years worth of stuff planned at this point it should be around a while longer.

Not sure what you have found the cards selling for, but they should be $15 for 30 days. I know of four stores around here that sell them for $15.95 for 30 days. 60 days is $29.95. If the store you go to have them for more then $15 for 30 days then you need to find another store.

I don't see how they would. At this time, there are a few other MMO's who charge. They have also been around for a few years and are still going strong. The only way I see CoH/CoV going free is if WoW and Everquest goes free too. It would put the pressure on CoH and they wouldn't hold out long against the loss like that.

Personally, I enjoy the game as a paid game. I tried a couple of the other MMO games that are free, and I found them, less inventive and full of people that didn't have the same respect for players as those that pay and play. Just my own Point of View.

Next time I have to hire a new employee, I'm going to go into the interviews like this: Are you willing to work for free? Why not!? OK, but are you ever going to work for free? I mean, because you know we could hire more recent graduates ... o.O

Also I'm going to go around dropping "NCSoft is developing Marvel" into conversations just to see Wikkedbowtie's head explode. :)
