So i've been reading up on the pvp and I understand there is a sort of pvp flag for those not on the pvp server. My main question is, how often is that flag used? I like pvp but in not really hardcore about it, not in eq2 terms anyway. So do people ever group up and flag for some good group fights or is flagging in eq2 or normal servers pretty rare if not non existant. I haven't seen anywhere about a arena or something of that nature either for the normal servers so I guess I might as well ask if there is any sort of pvp "zone" on normal servers. Thanks!

There are arenas in the cities. The only other way to PvP is asking a person to duel you which is generally considered bad manners, and you could receive an automatic reply that denies it so the other person never actually sees the duel request.
I've never been to an arena and I have the "autodeny" feature enabled so I never see a PvP request because I simply loath PvP.
Seems understandable. I'll have to look into the Arenas more though. PvP servers seemed a bit much with the level locked specced out people but Arenas on the other hand will give more prep time for me to actually learn the game. Thanks again.
