Just wondering if anyone knows of a game like Oblivion that is either MMO or just multi-player online enabled. For pc or xbox 360( preferred ). I just got the game of the year edition of Oblivion for my xbox 360 and i love the graphics, game-play, and story. I really like the way you can rise to the top of the guilds and then you collect money and get to run guild so on and so forth. anyway, i love the game but tend to get a little lonely when I play for longer then 3-4 hours. Was wondering if anyone knows anything similar where i can bring a friend or 7 or 1000 .

I'm pretty sure that there aren't any MMOs out there that are much like Oblivion, mostly because the concept wouldn't work in an MMO. But, if you like the story, guilds, and stealth and AI weren't too important, then I can suggest its precursor Morrowind, it's no MMO but it should tide you over.
Darkfall kind of looks like oblivion so i think when it's released, that will be the closest you can get to oblivion MMO.
There's a lot of folks, (including myself) that would love to see the Elder Scroll series make an MMO. The recipe is there, the potential too. Not to mention Bethesda studio is one of the best RPG maker ever, and they wouldn't lack any money to develop a MMO, being backed by Microsoft.
What deserves to be done, deserves to be "well" done...
Well its a bit of a reach but Two Worlds seems close to what you might like. It didn't exactly get stellar reviews but it seems to fit what you are looking for. Its very similar to Oblivion and has both single player and multiplayer. Download the demo and see if you like it. (I wasn't to crazy about it)
Other then that try NWN or NWN2, there are hundreds of custom adventures for either one or make your own if you have the time / make the effort.
No MMO can do what Oblivion does, the devs are not that good and there isn't much creative talent in the genre.

EQ2 is the closest thing. The quests are deep and have voice overs, you actually hear them talk to you. It has housing, first person view, ect. The graphics and cities remind me of Oblivion as well. A lot of things remind me of it actually...
