I went with the quad core, its only a matter of time till games will start to use its design.

i got a quad also, considering ill never have to upgrade it till they make quadx2 processor.

it's not a matter of time till games use multiable cores, it's soon.
even a reletivly new programmer can learn how to take advantage of multiable processors in a week or three.
it seems the desk top could go the same route as servers, screw single processing power and just go with multiable cheaper processors to take advantage of true multithreading.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
