weezer's "Mitra's Method" over on WarCry...

http://aoc.warcry.com/news/view/77868

This fortnight weezer raised a very interesting topic of discussion regarding Age of Conan and makes quite a good contrast between the game which is promising much at the start, to games that are somewhat "moderate" in their initial stages but have eventually grown to be good games after some hard work.

After reading this edition, I can confidently say that I'm sure Funcom will continue setting new benchmarks in MMO gaming with Age of Conan months after release, but the danger with setting the benchmark too high, I guess, is leaving customers without that "whizz bang" feeling once they've seen and done it all.

What more could Funcom offer to its Age of Conan players a few months or even a year into the game's release?

Agree with the views there. Set the expectations too high and you costumers will be dissappointed. Elementary marketing.

In the internet age this is very difficult since you get no attention unless you use big words.
