Anyone know what to give this thing as a offering?

You can sacrifice almost any weapons and/or armor to your god of choice, but not all are accepted. You'll find that the amount of faction you receive scales w/ the quality and level of the item you are sacrificing. And crafted items will always net you less then dropped items of Treasured quality and above.
You can try to offer anything you have to the altar it can only be accepted or refused.
Mostly i offer up armor, weapons, jewellery that is useless to me that i get from quest rewards. I also offer anything that ive upgraded.
The better the item the more points you will recieve.
