Well this is also true in WoW to a certain extent but the problem is that a little 13yo can't handle the fact that he can't beat every other class in the game and so complains and because Blizz started the whole thing out as a PvE game and tacked the PvP aspect onto it it is very imbalanced.
What WAR is trying to achieve in my humble opinion, is to create a known set of circumstances where everyone can battle everyone (note they are not having strict support classes such as priests but making it so that everyone can do dps and then certain classes have buffs/heals etc to offset less dps) which means greater emphasis is placed on teamwork to overcome gaps in your own skill and so as a close combat class you may need to look for a number of other ranged or buffing/healing classes to be able to group with to make sure that your lack of ranged damage is looked after by others.
It is a much nicer idea and a seemingly more balanced system than most others arounnd.

ive never heard of a rogue that could kill a tank but not a mage thats kinda retarded since mages are paper and rogues are scissors
