Tall Order is a Warhammer guild for those who want to join Order. We welcome DwArFs, EMPIRE and HigH ElveS. Recruitment starts now.
Tall Order is first and foremost an RvR/PvP guild. We strive to excel in RvR and we will make sure we have a heavy presence in all zones. We will be engaged in all aspects of RvR: skirmishes, battlefields, scenarios.

While I usually wait to join guilds until the game actually launches, I've noticed that, for obvious reasons, newer games are accepting Guilds (Guildleader's discretion if accepted, I assume) for the purposes of testing the more intricate RvR/PvP mechanisms being developed these days.
I'm looking maiinly for an Order guild and I noticed that you are recruiting. While you mention that you will be recruting all 12 classes, and list which ones you currently need, the WAR website currently only lists 10 classes (2 are "coming soon" for the elves on both sides of the conflict). Also in your list I don't see the currently known Elven classes. So, question is, do you already have the High Elf bow users (Shadow Warriors, I believe)? This will be my first class as I've always liked archers, though they're usually a bit tough to play, especially solo, so a good group is always a help. I like to contribute to group endeavors and have traditionally played crafters, healers and archers.
I don't consider myself "hardcore", though I tend to play a LOT if I enjoy a game (I had 5 pre-NGE SWG accounts, for example, and was a guild leader myself before they destroyed the game).
Really just looking for a little more updated information on Tall Order to see where you stand with the newly released (sketchy) details of the Elves.

hi XIx-- yes we are currently recruiting all high elf classes except for swordmaster. the list needs to be updated.
here is an updated list of what classes we are recruiting. theres lots of slots open for high elves. we are still recruiting the HE melee dps class, but it's not on the list since it hasn't been announced yet.

Q. What server will be chosen?A. We will create Tall Order on a US non-RP server.
So is this Open RvR or Core ruleset?
Since there is still very little information out about the server types, right now we are undecided on what server we will play on. We are leaning towards core ruleset, however, but once we know more info then our decision may change or stay the same.
So no Open RvR I assume, what kind of other information are you guys waiting to hear about?
Ahh, there are so many things we would like to know some more info on: that last high elf class, siege battles, the guild system, if there are going to be variations of the dwarf mount, dark elf death animations
,the list could go on and on. We have done a lot of research on the game and most of the things we want to know more about are the things that Mythic has released little info on.

I might stop by and chat a bit sometime as far as server types though I'm pretty solid in heading to Open RvR, unless they make Open RvR/RP. Thanks for the heads up Wagbees.

What is this Guild Launch fee? Surely you don't expect members to pay correct?
Well besides paying the monthly fee for the game, there are no fees for anything else. Joining a guild should be absolutely free
I recently tried to apply and keep getting :

However, there are no problems with my entry. Perhaps this is a sign that this guild is not well organized and kept up...?
hmm strange...I haven't heard of any problems with it before. There are 2 steps in the application process. step 1 is to make an account and step 2 is to fill out an application. If you want to apply, then both steps must be filled out and submitted at the same time.

Applying for guild membership is all done on this page.
1. Create a Guild Launch account on this page.
2. The guild application at the bottom of this page should be submitted at the same time.
Make sure you fill in all the blanks that have a red asterisk next to them and check all the boxes. You must have a valid e-mail address and a password that is at least 8 characters long for it to go through. I hope this helps ya.
I think the problem is that you have to click the box to stating something to the nature of accepting offers from guild launch. Well I didn't click that box because I don't accept. If it is an option than it shouldn't matter. If it is a requirment then it shouldn't be listed as an option.
I'll give it another try though.
You don't have to check the box that says " I would like to receive offers from Guild Launch affiliates." Everything else should be checked though. If that doesn't work, then I guess try it in a different internet browser like Firefox.
