So it is like LOTRO sort of where you can't use a horse till a certain level? So between lvl 1-40 are there mounts you buy that go one way? I guess like DAOC, and LOTRO? (I may have missed some games that have that as well)

I guess, I think its like LOTRO, information has been a bit sketchy. I know there has been alot of talk on the official forums about "fast travel" how this might be is still unclear. I just remember Athelan (Dev) sying before that at around level 40 mounts will be available and they wont cost alot to aquire. I would presume Camels would probably be able to hold more stuff (assumption) could possibly be ideal for crafters? We don't know if the mounts will have a backpack kinda of facility either yet! haha. We know the Rhinos and Mammoths do certain damage the most to certain things in Sieges though.

Perhaps the environment plays a part in the horses vs camels debate. In a desert, a camel would be doing quite well long after the horse is dead, lamed, or at least forced to rest for a very long time. In addition, Camels, while they have a slower top speed than the average horse, can maintain a run in any environment for significantly longer. When it comes to bearing heavy loads though, camels and most warhorses of the time are roughly even, its just easier to string a huge but not particularly dense load over a camels back.

Camels I believe will not gallop as fast but have better usage of their stamina so could Gallop Longer.
And if it spits on me do I get to bash in it's skull? (move reference) haha
Well, actually yeah, they did mention at one point that camel punching is in

So far I believe there are:
Horses ~ obtainable at lvl 40 very cheap
Camels ~ same as above
War Rhino ~ only used in sieging ~ pre order box
Mammoth - only used in sieging ~pre order box
I think this is right.

Mounted combat is in game right? Both in siege and out of siege?

yes! For example Horses can be used in sieges and out of them. The others not sure about in this situation.
