Downloaded demo twice and it still will not install.

Downloaded once and got a corrupted file error and so did it a second time and it says the same thing.  I have cable modem and it is a pretty fast download at just over an hour and it seems to complete normally but can't install.  Anyone else having this error?

I had the same problem, twice, downloading with Internet Explorer - honestly. I installed Firefox (since I did not have it on my gaming machine), tried the download again (deleted the old download) and it worked perfectly. Was IE the issue? I don't know but setup.exe kept being corrupted on the extraction until I did it with Firefox - worked perfectly.

I had the same problem with some demo's from Gamershell, got the corrupt file error when unpacking with WinRAR. I downloaded winzip and unpacked it, and it worked fine.

if you want to download demos make a free fileplanet acount and download them from there as i never have a problem and i installed it from there without a problem . :)

The problem is simple, site hiccups and internet explorer doesnt pick up on it.  Finishs the file and shows you a "completed" file which in turn is not complete therefore corrupted.

Reason why it might work better in FireFox is because firefox has a pauser and resumer functionality built into itself so it picks up when a signal is lost to the site. Fileplanet uses its own frontend though, but unless your a subscriber youde be better off using a download resumer or browser with it built in.
