I'm so pissed off.

in Everquest II

I'm probably more sad than pissed off.  I entered the EQ2 beta contest, logged in every day (literally), and didn't win.  Now I have nothing to do.

Please weep for me.

    I'll not weep for you, rather weep for myself, at least you had a CHANCE of winning, I couldn't even enter. :( My only hope is that I'll be lucky enough to get picked through the standard way... But yeah, my luck sucks, so not much hope there. :(

    I wasn't allowed to enter the normal way because I'm not 18.  The MMORPG contest was my only hope.  :(

    Well I will not weep for you either becuase people win and people lose.....you jsut lost so deal with it......

    there are other ways to deal with losing besides being sad....because that will not help any thing......

    so just do what the rest of use will do and play other games and keep reading up on the boards and other sites on everything with EQ2

    First of all, I wanted to win the EQ2 beta so that I could get off of message boards and actually have fun.  And second of all, everything else out there to play is crap.

    I thought you had to be at least 18 to enter into the contest on this web site as well, if so you would of been SoL anyway. As well we all feel your pain Kunou, I have my fingures cross and I'm hopein I make it into EQII beta through the normal process. I've been playing EQ for well over 3 years now, going on 4, so I hope that gives me some advantage.

    Just don't come here and cry about loseing a contest because you WANTED to beta test EQ2.....alot of us did and alot of us want to get onto other betas and when we lose we won't come here....we will just  continue to wait for the game to come out and keep reading the boards and site to furthur inform ourselfs......lol

    you know I am glad i didn't get into the WoW or EQ2 Betas........

    because then i play them for so long there and then i won't want the game when it comes out.... I am glad i have to wait.....because then when the game does come out...i can enjoy it.....and play with all of my friends

    If we weep for you, then we should weep for all those that didn't win.  While we all logged in everyday faithfully, it was still a random drawing.  Ah well, perhaps another beta contest, and maybe lucky then.

    The only point to a beta is to better the game and get a heads up on a little of the game lore and knowledge.

    Your character isn't kept...so no incentive there. All you get is the little piece of pie saying you were in beta.

    I'd rather start the game fresh...with everyone else. (Everyone even those who beta'ed). Much more fun. I wouldn't cry over not getting into beta. The game will be that much more fun when released for you.

    You aren't going to miss a thing. I happen to be into all the knowledge and helping so I might cry. Only kidding...image

    OMG, some people are such whiners.  You had like a 1 in 5000 chance of winning that contest anyway, so why did you bother getting your hopes up.  Or are you like those people who actually thinks that if they by a lotto ticket every week then they actually have a good chance of winning.  By that logic you might as well by lightning insurance because you're more likely to be hit by lightning twice then win the lottery.

    Your probably also one of those people has no intention of actually buying the game when it comes out and just wants to play the beta cause it's free.  There are plenty of other good MMORPGs out there!

    Now go back to were you said arn't I so kind...its not jsut me who sees this thread as useless.....wow you lost deal with it.....when yo uenter a contest don't get your hpoes up.......lol htis is not some beauty pagent.....where everyoen has the biggest ego and think there so much better then everyone else adn when they lose they cry.....

    if your gonna cry about this....then do it playing another game...while out side or go to your own little corner......I mean...if you lost money...or lost friends...or a girl or somehting over this then i might feel bad but just becasue you lost a contest....

    you know i feel worse for Kouno I think its spell(sry if it is misspelled).....but he couldn't even enter this contest.....and the fact thqat you couldn't enter the normal beta cause you have to be 18 alwell deal with it i want to get into eq2 beta but i am 16 so i couldn't....you knwo what i say ALWELL!!!!

    like someone said before...the game will be just soooo much better when it finally comes out because you been waiting for it unlike those oyu have played it and get bored of it.....

    My first post was a joke, jackass.  A JJJOOOKKKEEE.  You know--something that has a little bit of truth but quite a bit of exaggeration?  If you thought I was being serious, then that just shows how much you don't know me, therefore not giving you what you need to critique and comment on the things that I say.

    Okay, well I apologize if you actually thought that I wanted people to cry for me.  I thought it was rather apparent that I was kidding, but I suppose some are not as blessed in seeing the obvious as others.

    Let's end the conversation here, shall we?  I wouldn't dare want to take up any more of that "precious time" of yours that could be spent playing a video game or something else extremely contributive to society.

    Yeah, I think the other 10 people who got on the list but didnt get in would be the most dissapointed. Probobly because they were so close to it, but werent fast enough... that would be something you would regret for quite a while...
