Why the vitriol between WoW and EQ2

Why does it seem like every other post about either WoW or EQ2 devolvs into personal attacks.

You're a moron... if you'd just read a little more... ugh!

Why does it matter which one is 'better' since that is such a personal preference.

I really think there is enough room in the MMORPG market for both to co-exist and thrive. It's not like either of them will fold within a year of launch.

What these people need to do is wait till the game come out and then make you opinions. Anyone of the games can suck when they come out (not that im saying they will)

All I say is that im buying WOW cuz me and my dad are fans of Warcraft games. No debate included . . .

I think it centers around the fact that WOW is going to be better and most EQ2 fanboys can't take it

Because flaming the competition is fun and it gives us all something to do until the games come out!
