BIO-WARE...Mass Effect or KOTOR mmorpg?

Hey guys...
I can't help but wonder what BIO-WARE has in store for us. All of this speculation has left me wondering. So, here it goes...
I don't think what the powers that be are planning, is a FANTASY mmo, because the market is so flooded with the genre at the moment. From a marketing standpoint, I just don't see why they would make yet another D&D based game.
I do think it would make perfect sense for BIO-WARE to make a SCI-FI mmo because of their success with Starwars Knights of the Old Republic. In fact, it would NOT make sense from a business point of view, if they didn't make a KOTOR MMORPG.
The other option, and one that also makes a good bit of sense would be MASS EFFECT. One thing they could do is release the single player game and continue to develop the MMO version. In fact this option makes the most sense because it's an untainted IP. It's fresh, new and without blemish. They would not have to fight with Lucas Arts or SOE and EA would be happy because they would have a new cutting edge title.

Obviously I'm hoping it's going to be KOTOR...
but anything by Bioware is going to be good, so I'm just happy they are making a MMO!
I'm happy if it's KOTOR of MASS EFFECT, either way. Something completely new may be nice, but those 2 titles have the most built in interest.
Regarding the "console only" rumor, it really wouldn't feel like an MMO to me unless there were a keyboard and mouse peripheral.

The game Rifts sounds awsome and would make an awsome mmo. I heard about it on the bioware forums.

I don't have a preference between Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic so long as the MMO is for the PC.
See with all this speculation you would expect some type of research being done. I feel like the loner here who's been like the only one actually looking for valid proof. So here's my case to you and think what you want of it.

I'm not gonna add any bias to this tidbit of posting. I will say though that this leads to both options and both are uncomfired. The only thing I can add is between these links you follow is that Bioware was already devolping an mmorpg before LA started shopping and if history repeats then the last time that happened Bioware didn't work on KOTOR2 because they already Started on Jade Empire.
Logical thinking and actual research have no place on these forums. AWAY!
Anyways, can I change my vote to Mass Effect. The more I look into it, the less KOTOR fits into the scenario... Or maybe it IS Kotor and all of this is some devious plot to incite our interest. I'm so confused.
i dont want a kotor mmmo i want a forgotten realms mmo with permadeath and no true spawnpoints. i want there to be like 90 other planes of existence. i want players to FEAR death and have to think up true strategies.
now people rise up from these boring mmos and help me make this game!!!!!!!!!

Well, I know BIOWARE will do a fantastic job on anything they choose to undertake...However, I really hope it's at least Sci-fi.
im going to go with -
since all of their job postings for the Austin office specifically asked for fantasy MMO dev experience ,say it is a fantasy based MMO that could include Hary Potter to Fire and Ice. I dont think they are going to sabatoge their own Mass effect sales by making a mmo before th entire trilogy is made and i still firmly beleive that there is 0 chance of it being KOTOR.

it wont be kotor because -
it is not good busniess for EA or LEC since both companies do the same thing, better chance of seeing a ford motor sponsored honda race team ,
its not logical for BW to make kotor, either LEC or EA would have to NOT do what their company does - publish
another company made the last kotor game because LEC and BW had a publiclly admitted Failling out
Who owns obsidian now? they last held the IP to the kotor timeline not bioware.
they admitted the mmo is not a bioware IP - so mass effect and jade empire are out , but they said nothing about if it was an EA owned IP so HPO is in lol ( this is only one i even half way beleive might be possible).
seriously for it to be kotor online made by bioware now would be like the PS3 being manufactured at the MS Xbox360 facility - could happen but wont.

the NGE is what SOE does, thay made a bad businees choice but a logical one - they tried to grab some imaginary audience but they still did what they do - develop . EA would have to make a bad business choice AND stop doing the only thing their company does. on top of that they have to go out and BUY the rights form whoever has them now ( bioware does not have them , even if they kept the purchace of the rights quiet , the company that lost them would have no reason to keep that quiet).

um they said on their forums somewhere that the MMO was not a BW IP - sooo its not ME or JE.
their words not mine. and my 1st post earleir says why i think its a fantasy based .. mainly because they only want devs with fantasy based mmo exp for the austin offices kind of odd experienc to ask for to make a sci-fi / space game i would think.

read this post on their fourms. serval time sthey said THEIR OWN IP. one even said to not hold your breath their will not be a KOTOR MMO unless EA play a crapload of money to LA to be allowed to publish which they wont. why didnt bioware make KOTOR 2 it seems pretty oblisious if LA wanted them to make a mmo they wouldve made it.
