Worth Activating?

 Hey guys, back in fall i had purchased Dark Age of Camelot (Along with Shrouded Isles).

 The main reason i wanted to play DAoC was because of RvR. Well, i tried it for about a month, and i kind of thought the PvE was a little boring. So then i cancelled my account, and it's been sitting in my closest for the rest of the time.

 I heard about a new frontiers (free) expansion coming out. I checked it out, and i thought it was awesome. I love the boats and now everything is seperated by water. I've been thinking about re-activing my account. Is it worth it?

yes it is. i did the same thing you did. i am re doing my account. and i ma loveing it even more. so yes it is.

 The only setback i have is i won't be able to RvR until level 50 (which will take a while).

 Of course there is BG, but last time i tried it it had 20 people Max. and another BG i had done they told me not to go to it because nobody ever goes. And it was true, nobody at all was on it.

 But hey, maybe i can just do mass levelling, it is the summer

ya dude i am in the same spot you are at. just get a good guild to help ya. i know my guild got my char to level 45 just in one week.< it was in the summer and we did nothing but level up everyone in the guild> i hope they are still around its been a year. well what server and realm you going to be on.

 My friend from MMORPG.com is on lancelot i believe... But if you know a good guild on a different server i'd go on that one as well. Although i'd have to start a new character, i'm dedicated and have played tons of MMO's, so make sure you tell them that .

ok dude i will tell them that. i will try to find were my char is< forgot what server lol is been a year> all i can say is get that char to level 50 if you want to. then do the /level thing on a diff server.

 I'm still trying to figure out what class i want to play. I did a reaver before... Not sure if they are any good RvR though.

 Have any ideas on what's a good RvR class?

reavers are really good in rvr< what i have seen them do anyways> you should do your reaver. what level is it.

 Gah, i'm really not sure >.< but i know he's over level 20.

 And as for realm i prefer albion.

the reavers i seen rock in rvr< i know they always aim for my bard lol> so get your reaver to level 50.  i know i have a level 15 reaver and i have fun alot of time with her. good luck

Lots of stuff rules in rvr...

Infiltrator, scout, paladin, fire wizard and cleric are all well sought.

 Yeah i'm looking for a class that can deal damage, as well as take the damage..

 Anyways. About this free 7 day trial...

 I have purchased both shrouded isles and the original.. But before i pay monthly i'd like to get a 7 day free trial.. How does the free trial work though? After it goes over 7 days do they bill me for the monthly fee AND for the game? Because i wouldn't want that since i already purchased the game. Also on the free trial.. Do i have to start a whole new account.. Or can i use my older account with the free trial?

you can use the old one. that is what my friend did. he got the 7-day free trail and did his old account.

 Ok... So when i download the free trial i can actually access the old account i had? So when the trial is about to end should i cancel it, and put in the actual expansion set i bought and sign up for that?

just keep it. that is what ia mding. i download the trail. then i got si. downloaded that,. and know i am going to get TOA. so it works out in the end

 Do they ever bill you more than the monthly fee should be though? I mean you download the game instead of buying it, so i'd think they'd add in that fee too... But ok, i'll give it a shot.

i hope they dont. i dont think they will. becouse if someone downloaded it and did not like it. i think that person would be mad if they hade to pay $16.
