having recently resubbed to eq2 after ages, i finally got the euro servers up and running, and found runnyeye to still be around, i was just posting to see what the population and guilds are like on runnyeye, as i saw a few in the top ten best tanks and stuff in station players, thought i would reroll on the euro servers from the us ones as i was getting appaling server lag on crushbone at 6pm gmt - 11pm gmt and i was unable to heal at all. found the server to be 100% more stable on runnyeye, but i have seen very few people around, would like to know if its worth staying on runnyeye or to put up with the lag on a us server in relation to grouping/raiding as i play a healer, any advice would be appreciated

That's a tough one.
Since you are in London, it makes sense that there is no lag for you on the EU servers.
I would suggest that you consider staying on Runnyeye and look towards joining up with a good guild. Since EQ2 is a few years old now, the starting areas are not as populated as they once were. This is not the case, for example, on Antonia Bayle, however that is a US server and does not solve your problem.
The other thing to consider is that, in the US at least, the new expansion drops in about 2 weeks - at that point you will find a ton of older players in the new land trying out the new race, and new players attracted to the game because it is back on store shelves. That would be a good time and place to start anew.
Good luck to you and enjoy the game!
