C1 Server transfers being implemented

I was online last night i haven't played L2 for a long time and a friend I use to play with MSD'd me and asked if i was going to come back because i could transfer my toon I believe taht the new expansion is due mid December.  Anyone else considering going back to this game and has anything improved? (i am guessing not but just on the off chance taht it is not lame as it use to be)

Depends on when you quit, tons of stuff has been added by the chronicles. Leveling has gotten a lot easier it seems in the lower levels especially with academies, grouping bonuses, etc. I believe the game has improved except for a few things like cp pots, quick healing potions (people can basically spam these). The land has gotten a lot bigger as well and pretty soon things like fortresses will add to the PvP. I suggest waiting for like a week because the PTS is coming soon and then join and I believe like the other PTS times, that you can get a lvl 78 character at the beginning so try it out then.

I've come back largely for the same reason.

Were they not implementing server xfers I don't know if I'd have bothered. Much as I miss playing my characters, there was too much crap on my old server to make me want to bother.

What I'm waiting for official word on is:

- How much the transfer will cost per toon

- What restrictions there will be - I've heard a variety of different theories and claims on this, ranging from the reasonable to the ridiculous. Since none of them are provided by NC themselves, though, I'm not putting any stock in them.

I'm sure there will be restrictions, I just hope they're not unreasonable.
