Work for a living; want a game that's FUN

Spent the last six months playing Anarchy Online; realized that with having to constantly scrabble for money to buy implants, hire people to put together the implants and "tipping" for buffs so I could wear the implants, the game had stopped being fun about two months ago.

Is there an MMORPG that is about role-PLAYING?  I want a fantasy GAME, not a real-life-sim set in a fantasy/sci-fi universe.  Also, the ability to solo if I want to would be a blessing.  Thanks for any advice

Dungeon Runners is a perfect working person's/casual gamers type of game.   It's very easy to pick up, play for a few minutes and then log off.  It's free to download and free to play.  There's a cheap ($5/month) subscription if you like it enough and want the etxtra goodies, but the goodies aren't required, especially if you're a casual player.  It looks WoWish, play's Diablo-ish (straight up dungeon running and hack-n-slashing) and has a wicked sense of humor.

FYI - if you're looking for RP, it ain't here.  The community is friendly (psst, pick worlds 4 or 7), but RPers they're not...

    Check it out at dungeonrunners.com.

Guild Wars is also a great, grind-free game; it takes about 2 days to get max level and from there it's all storyline missions and PvP.  Not to mention the lack of monthly fee!

Guild wars is very casual, and if you get Nightfall, you get heroes, so you can pretty much do your own thing all the time, cept the last couple missions.  Pain of madness is insanely hard, trust me.  As far as your RP desire, that will be hard to fill.  Most games sadly, even though they are considered rpg, doesn't mean people actually will RP.  It is sad really, but eh, I guess adults think pretending is for children, who knows.  If your willing to spend money, WoW may be another option for you.  It is very very casual, and doesn't need a supercomputer to use.  I personally never got into it, but I'm more the hardcore type.  There is tons of quests, rather populated if you want to group, can solo your way to max level if you want to, and I do think there are rp servers where you may even be able to find a guild that does RP.  I remember a friend of mine being in an RP guild.  They had tons of fun.  Hope this helps ya.
