I am a new player starting out in TR and would like to learn more about attributes. I was thinking of taking my first character up to the grenadier class.
1) Which attributes should I be focused on for this final class choice?
2) Which skills should I be focused on for this class?
3) Which abilities should I focus on for this class?
4) Do all classes have the option to solo?
Thanks in advance for any help.

there is a very good thread with all this info a couple of pages down on this forum. called advice for new players or some such. all your questions are answered there.
in short: attributes don't matter much at this point. best bet seems to be to spread evenly over all 3.
skills/abilities: firearm and rage are all you need. you definitely want rage, but i'm not sure how useful firearms is to a grenadier.
1pt in shrapnel is a good investment. more than 1 is a waste.

#1: See previous post. It ultimately doesn't have a serious affect on the game, but you can't go wrong with an even split of one point in each attribute per level.
#2: Firearms is the staple skill of ALL classes in this game. Take it to at least 3. All other additional weapons you can wield as a Grenadier (machine guns, launchers, propellants) are all situational weapons that are expensive to use. So you will want a cheap reliable option always available to you - being the rifle and shotgun.
#3: RAGE! Rage is THE staple skill of all Soldier-branch classes. Take it to at least 4.
#4: Yes. But this game is very heavily dependent on player skill more than a lot of MMORPGs out there, so a lot of people out there will have a difficult time not dying. To put it in a nutshell: If there's too many of them, and you're losing, run away and find a safe spot to regenerate your armor.
