Hello. I've played many MMORPG's, but i've never found one that i've really liked. It's either too much monotonous grinding, lack of depth, slow gameplay, little to none skill/stat customization, or really bad PvP action etc...
What do i want in an MMORPG?
PvP: I think PvP is an important factor. Grinding can be fun for a while, depending on the game, but there's nothing like killing a bunch of guys from another faction together with your guildmates.
Gameplay: There's nothing worse than slow games. I just can't stand them. Speed is fun! Well some slower MMORPG's are alright. It depends on the game.
Teamwork: Teamwork is fun. Especially in PvP combat. Tho i don't really like being in excessively large groups, like in WoW for example. 40 player parties is a bit much in my opinion. 5 player parties would be sufficient i guess.
Customization: This is the best part of an MMORPG. I can spend hours thinking about how i should build my character. There's nothing like having a unique character. I really hate MMORPG's were every player of a certain class wears the same equipment as you and uses the exact same skills.
The only games that are decent is EVE online and Fury. I stopped playing EVE before the trial ended tho, beacuse i didn't like the skill system. Fury is possibly the best MMORPG ever beacuse it's very fast and there's no PVE involved whatsoever, and best of all, there's ALOT of customization, fast thinking, and teamwork involved. Tho my current computer can't handle Fury, so that's not an option right now.
Here's a small fraction of every MMORPG that i've played:
L2, WoW, EVE, RYL, RYL2, 9 dragons, Fury, Anarchy Online, Dark and Light, DDO Online, KALonline, Planeshift, Rakion, Rappelz, Runescape, Silkroad online, Cabal online, Tibia, Rule In Hell..........
I really hope that someone have any suggestions, beacuse i've been looking for a decent MMORPG for years.

You could give Star Wars Galaxies a try. However, PvP doesn't really start until level 80 only due to the fact that there is no place for lower levels to PvP amoungst themselve without being attacked by level 90's. There's nothing stopping you from PvP'ing as soon as you jump off the tutorial station though (or on it even).
I'm VERY sceptical to the star wars theme, but thanks anyway. I started playing Shadowbane a few weeks ago and it's a darn nice game. I may try SWG anyway... if i ever get tired of Shadowbane.
