Only game i'm really looking forward to playing, not one MMORPG upcomming give's me the feel i get when i see or read things about AC, actualy the first game since a hell lot of years i'm sort of hyped about, not due to its hype but due to everything i seen and read, which wasn't overhyped as i have read many previews of critics playing the game and all came with the same conclusion the game is true next gen. But to try and answer your question, unless it is changed expect the game to be played mostly on Xbox360 and Ps3 as the pc version as far i know at the moment, not looked into the game for a couple of weeks now is coming somewhere feb or march '08, so bit of a wait, but think it will be worth it. PC will always rule over a console that is if you play with high end gear or close to high end gear, december will be my upgrade term to get/buy/build myself a new system.
Like i said almost a year ago, when will MMO's get this type of character movement freedom
The PC version is being ported over by a different company and will not be available this year.
As for which version (PS3 or Xbox 360) will be the definitive version, you'll be sorry to hear that theya re exactly the same (graphically, content, sound, etc). If you are asking about which system will sell more copies, the Xbox 360 will. Hands down, I'd put $500 on that bet if I wasn't so sure the payout was gonna be so crappy.

That should give you some hints
A gay port? You know I think all platforms should be grateful to have a little somthin somthin to grace it.

RISING DRAGOON ~AION US ONLINE LEGION for Elyos
The previews I've been reading lately don't sound promising for the game. Supposedly the controls are really bad and the gameplay sounds really repetative. Might be a good idea to wait for reviews before buying any version.

Fujitsu 360 gave it a 37/40 and Game Informer (or insider) gave it a 9.5/10
Reviews btw
I love the concept and the type of gameplay. I also really like the fact it will have a really massive feel to it. Unfortunately, I too am hearing bad things about it. An assassin game with poor controls, especially a non-gun based one(though I am sure that some type of bow will be available) doesn't sound very good to me no matter how nice the graphics are or how cool the concept is.
If it's anything like any of the Prince of Persia games by Ubisoft the I'll definately give it a shot. I've enjoyed the first one imensely, I'm still working on the 2nd one and hope to make it to the 3rd. I think I'll enjoy the freedom, the ability to go where ever when ever you want is nice. I personally don't care about the reviews. I'll rent it for a console and give it a go, and if it turns out to be crap then that's that. But if it ends up being something realy good then off I go to the store.
I have rarely if ever given a damn regarding reviews and what the people actually say. I've always been a fan of trying things myself and making my own decisions. For all I know there are people out there getting paid off to hype or discredit games depending on who is making them. And I doubt there is anybody out there that plays games for the same reason as I so I don't think they know what I like. I barely know what I like.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
