Not sure if you should play Tabula Rasa?

Well i wasn't either.

I have been playing MMO's for about 4 years now and have been like many others stuck in the WoW world for a while with lack of anything else to do.

After reading about TB a long time ago i had high hopes. I did not manage to get in the beta so i read what people had to say about the game on these forums and was a little dissapointed with what i was reading, enough so that i was almost put off buying the game.

But i decided that i would pick it up and give it a go and i am glad i did, i am having a lot of fun in the game, i can't tell you if it has long term appeal i have only been playing for a week, i cant even tell you that you will like it but i can tell you that i think it is a lot of fun!

So if you are thinking of playing TB my advice is do! Fun imo is the main reason to play a game and for the last week i have had fun.

I agree, i was keen to try the game out since richard garriot was working on it, but it still sounded the same as many other games out there.  I can happily say its extremely entertaining with the addiction factor that keeps you wanting to log back in and kill some aliens

The last thing anyone should do is listen to a negative review by a forum troll.They tend to bash everything just for the fun of it.
