Something I don't understand

Some people on other forums are whining that this game is for PC and PS3 but not Xbox 360. First off:

Why would anyone buy an Xbox to play MMO's in the first place?

And when Gears of War or Halo 3 were deemed 360 only titles, nobody complained, why should they?

I know it sounds too much like complaining on my part but I just had to get that out.

Being a 'conservative' PC gamer myself, I can actually feel where do Xbox or even any other consoles' owners came from. Though debatable, the general 'beauties' of opting for consoles as the main MMO platform of choice are:-

    - It's 'the other way around' for them so to speak. They don't really have to give a shit about dx10 hardware cyclical changes. They only have to worry about which titles gets the specific porting jobs and most of them console owners are logically prepped with their brand of "TOTAL IMMERSION = GRAPHICS = A BIG PILE OF BS" policy. Less pain and wait, more game for them that way. Also notice that they don't have to deal with too many 'fixes' or 'patches' compared to us PC gamers. When you get that part sorted out, you'll realize that there is A LOT of practical sense in owning a console to play MMOs.

    - Because Gears of War and Halo 3 aren't really MMOs per se and it's hard to see complains from a crowd that focuses on anything else than shooters from the ground up. For a better comprehension, if it's a shooter MMO then it's gotta be more than just a shooter, it's that simple really in this case.

Or at the very least, that's what this title's 'watchers' are hoping for...

Why it's not going to Xbox is more due to them being the PS3 competition and SoE and PS3 being Sony property.
