Founder's club info and a change in payment options

Probably no one wants the founder's club right now because of all the bugs and lack of content for subscribers.  Although changing the options of paying to Pay by Cash and Paypal is a good idea (that assumes anyone actually wants to subscribe right now). I wouldn't give Ping0 my credit card info, that's for sure. Ping0 should have had these options from the beginning.

Thanks for the info! Right now I subscribe monthly, I may consider founders off during this time but I don't know yet. I do believe once they fix some things that this game will regain some of its expectations and those nays will turn into alot of yays ;)

In my opinion the founders club option is not a very good decision.  There is just no content right now, nor will there be in the near future, the December patch does not have that much in it.   The majority of players will burn out on this game within 6 months or sooner and then you have just a few founders players left.

Enjoy the game and if you want to subscribe go ahead, but the founders club is just throwing money down the drain.

I know the way I play video games I will probably come back from time to time, just like I have with Diablo II and most games I never completed or has replay value. So my guess is that if HG:L is stil around in 5 years I will probably be back for a little while at that time.

Everyone burns out on any type of game. I played EQ for 5 years on and off, SWG till this day, but dont play everyday like I used to, WoW I been rid of since BC was introduced and got my 3 players to 70, when word got out that they were raising the capp to 80, i just stop raiding and went back to Guild Wars. I have been subbing in Eve Online for 2 years now straight and trying out TR now.

Now out of a bundle of those games I play, I dont regret any type of money dropped into it, if it entertained me, it did its job. Everyone pays for entertainment in different ways. Some drop $$ on strippers for entertainment, some go to the slot machines for for fun and some use video games for that escape from reality.

So, I dont think I am getting screwed at all for fun.

After playing in beta and currently im willing to bet they will push the founders club offer into next year. The game is fun and is EXACTLY what im looking for longterm BUT it needs some serious work.

I can play at maximum settings but it lags a lot and ive not dared to team with other players as yet for fear of severe lag.

Memory leaks and long long LONG load times are the 2 major things that need work.Screw the content for now and work on those 2 things and i might buy the founders club.
