I'm thinking of getting this game for the 360. I'm wondering if the little keypad for the controller is worth using or would it just be better to get a wireless keyboard?
I'm thinking it would just be easier to use the controller keypad instead of switching between controller and keyboard all the time but if it doesn't work properly with this game I guess the keyboard will have to do

the chat pad takes a little getting used to, but after a while it is much easier than using a keyboard... Just my 2 gil tho....
I've been using a wireless keyboard, but I've been thinking about getting one of those keypad things.
Trust me just get a keyboard. I use a wired keyboard, bought a 1m extension for it so i can lie in bed and still talk
If you join on the server - "Fairy" then ill be able to get you into a linkshell (guild) who are all really friendly and up for answering any questions

What is better a messanger kit pad thing or just a keyboard?
FYI im almost certain i read something about people having problems with the messenger chat pad and FFXI, on the official 360 forums.
