MMO for the Wii!

Imagine your self playing your favorite MMO. Maybe you're a mage and you are getting ready to cast  a fireball. Maybe you are a warrior and about to slash some baddie. Maybe you are a space ship getting ready to shoot down some Intergallactic pirate. So now you have the Wii controllers in your hands. You don't just move your finger up and hit 1 on the keyboard to attack or cast that fireball. You actually take a whooping slash and cut the buggers head off. Or you do some hand motion with the controllers to make a fireball appear in your hands, then hurl it at an unsuspecting foe. It would really make a mockery of AoC's combat system. Why hit q2e to do a jab when you can actually jab? Of course, I do own a Wii and I do know the frustration of certain movements not registering correctly, but still, how cool would that be? The graphics would be sh**, but the gameplay would be exemplory. I think this is the next frontier in MMO gaming, and I would love to see it happen.  (we just gotta find a way to get those controllers for the comp)

Hey Maniac I think that statistic is actually more around 50%, I heard it on the news once and also:

In 2000, approximately 2.1 million youth under age 18 used marijuana for the first time, and 2.2 million tried cigarettes for the first time.⁶ The number of youth who first try a cigarette or marijuana in the U.S. each year is greater than the combined

Unless there are only like 4 million youth in the U.S. its gotta be off. The estimated percentage of teens that have tried alcohol is 90%, I know that for a fact.

Axe, I did a blog on this recently, talking about how close we are to bringing some rather interesting technologies together.  The article links in some videos showing the technologies in action.

Oh, and the Wii has a Harry Potter game where you use the controller as your wand.

Hmm, It was someones else's sig and the put if you're one of the 2% then put it as your sig, I'll changed it whenever I put a new sig, and a harry potter MMO on the wii would be nice.

The Wii remote just replaces a repetitive action to another key. Also  Nintendo is late jumping to online let give them another console before they could try an mmo.
