To start off, the tutorial was a little rusty but im sure they will fix it soon enough with the ranting and raving on about it. My computer is really old 512mb ram, 128mb video card, i mean it is really crap. BUT it has ran games like EQ2, vanguard, even fury. The game has improved alot since beta, performance wise.
Ok now about the combat in fury.
Its crazy lol, Its super fast, your in battle almost non-stop. The skills were awesome. I will explain a couple skills, I choose destroy, there was a skill (cant remember the name) but it was much like the warrior charge ability (wow) without the stun and faster recycle timer and could use it during battle but instead of charge it was more of a instant teleport to your target with some damage. I believe the Guardian class (it was the shield using class) had a skill where you could drag people to you lol, overall i was very impressed even with the Newbie skills. That was the things I saw during the 1st (newbie, tutorial) battleground I went to. I won that match even after being killed twice before I finished loading the match
Then I got teleported to the main sanctuary and my computer just couldn't handle it.
But when I do buy a new computer I will be buying this game right along with it.
If you like guild wars instance type pvp, the quick thinking of wow's pvp. I would really suggest atleast giving fury a try its pretty bad %$#.

I was really confused in the tutorial tbh but I caught up later.
You just need to play a bit so you can understand how it works.
I'd recommend sticking with one archetype, using all its skills you have at that time then slowly mix and blend into your own build.
When you are confident with it enhance it even more or if you don't like it try a new one
And there's nothing more satisfying than a deathblow atm :P
If you're lagging in the sanctuary you can try switching to a different number from your middle tab in the screen.
Sometimes the one you're put into has a lot of traffic + creates some HDD loading/low fps for some reason.
A developer told me they're trying to fix that and it ain't as bad with latest patch (but still there).
I believe the cause of confusion is because they replaced a lot of common used game terms with their versions... For example, change incarnation means change build, trails (usually mean tests of some kinds) means unlock skills, essences means skill points for unlocking skills.
